Fees Policy 2016 - 2017
All 3 & 4 year old children (and some 2 year olds from September 2013) are eligible for the Early Years Education Entitlement (EYEE), which entitles them to free nursery education for up to 15 hours per week, starting from the main term following their 3rd birthday. This entitlement may be taken flexibly in either three, four or six hour sessions per day. Any hours in excess of 15 hours per week will be charged by the Pre-School at the rate of £5.00 per hour.
Children who have not yet reached their 3rd birthday at the start of the main term will be charged by the Pre-School for each session at the following rates:
9.00am - 12.00noon £15.00 9.00am - 1.00pm £20 9.00 - 3.00pm £30 Adhoc hours maybe available and are charged at £7 per hour.
A non-refundable administration fee of £20.00 is payable when a new child starts at the Pre-School and is NOT fully funded or EXCEEDS the 15 hour funding limit.
Fees are payable in full irrespective of any periods of absence. One month's notice must be given if you wish your child to leave Pre-School.
Fees are billed at the beginning of each term and must be paid within 14 days. Cheques should be made payable to 'Kingston Pre-School' or alternatively payments may be made by bank transfer, arrangements for which are detailed on the Fees bill.
We encourage all parents to check their eligibility for working tax credits and child tax credits and to claim accordingly. If you have any general questions relating to EYEE, you can contact the Information for Families Service on 0345 6080192. If you have any specific EYEE queries, speak to Pauline (the Supervisor) in the first instance, but if the matter cannot be resolved, you can contact Andrea Smith, an EYEE officer at East Sussex County Council on 01323 747028.
If you have any queries on the Fees billed by the Pre-School, please email or speak to Pauline.
